White House blog offers up news

In an effort to be the first 'next' generation president, President Obama has achieved many things.

He fought to keep his Blackberry while living in the White House, but the president only somewhat got his way when he was allowed to get a new Smartphone that would protect his well being.

He looked at the technology in the White House and asked for updated computers, as the ones there previously were long outdated.

But, beginning on the day of his inauguration, the www.Whitehouse.gov added a new link to the president's website: www.whitehouse.gov/blog

Though the blog is a very informative site, I'll just say I was expecting more out of it.

The word blog alludes to something cutting edge, something that is a new and exciting. But after a week watching the blog, I quickly found out that it is simply a site for the news releases from the White House to be published again.

Tell the Lee Clarion what you think!
