Behind the scenes of the Lee Clarion: Part III

This series will explore what goes on behind the scenes of Lee Clarion production. Production is an eventful time for all editors as we learn to cope with school work, stress and risk our lives getting the paper out to Lee students.

Don't worry. I know what you're wondering and I promise to answer and clear up all questions and confusion in this very post.

FIRST, you were wondering how I snagged such a hot commodity like my, not only warm, but fashionable scarf in the subzero climate today.

SECOND, you're asking how much it cost and and wondering where I purchased it.

Well, I must say while we were on break from Clarion production for a month, the Life Editor, Jessica Wright, taught me the valuable skill of knitting.

While talking about future articles and production assignments, we knitted the break away.

See, the first question is already answered. I knitted my scarf. My very own scarf. And to just get the second answer out of the way while I'm at it, the yarn only cost $2.99 at Hobby Lobby!

Now don't think that that beautiful scarf didn't come with trials and tribulation, because it did. I'm pretty sure I "restarted" the process about 10 times. I may have thrown a knitting needle or two in the process and I almost managed to poke my eye out. (Those things are dangerous!)

Ok, I'll admit it, that's not all. I also almost had 12 heart attacks from almost losing a stitch, lost a few hours of valuable sleep time and skipped a few meals.

But, I'd say, it's just the price you have to pay...

..now I'm sure the second one will come much easier.. I hope.

Besides, I'm already taking orders!!!
